Hello! I'm Celia, an animator, artist, and photographer.
As a kid, I spent lots of time finding ways to entertain myself indoors. I was lucky enough my mom kept her childhood films, filling our shelves at home with VHS tapes and DVDs of practically any Disney film or Fleischer Studios cartoon from the 30s-2000s you could imagine!I fell in love with these collections from my mom, and art and animation became staple interests ever since. It felt so magical to me, especially since I didn’t understand how it was made. However, I kept up with illustration and writing throughout Elementary school, convinced I would work on books and journalism.When I received my first phone and discovered animators online, I was blown away. It completely reignited my interest and want for an artistic space.For me, artistic work and creative spaces have helped find inspiration, community, and dear relationships I still carry today. It’s a connecting practice that can persist through hard times. My goal is to make things that can do the same for others while being a person who can bring positive change.
